New to PC Building - Advice Needed

Up until now I was mostly a console gamer. the few games i did play on PC was at 1080p but with everything going multiplatfrom i thought it was a good time to make the jump to pc. on this new build i wouldnt want to play at less than 1440p. aiming for 4k will probably tap out my budget if this build i posted can't do it already. Not too worried if the specs are overkill or not as long as it fits within my budget which is R45k-R50k right now

Games i wanna play on my pc would be the latest AAA stuff. Elden Ring & RE4R for starters.
If you want to go 4K and can stretch to R50k, then replace the CPU with a 7700X, the motherboard with a B650 and the 4070Ti to a 4080. That's likely be around R49k, but it will be a far better gaming experience and will handle 4K like a champ.

If you do go AMD, just get DDR5-6000 RAM, CL32 or 34. It doesn't need faster.

Hang on. Do you need to fit a monitor into the R 45k? And keyboard/mouse/headset etc?

Check your ram, the listed RAM is more for AMD. You can also go for a cheaper motherboard with the i7 instead of the current MB and i5. Just my 2c.
thanks wasn't even aware there was different intel/amd ram. just switched that out

nah have most of that stuff already. that R45k is just for the tower & i guess i need to get a windows key somewhere too(although i heard that isnt too expensive if you look in the right places XD)

Looks good. If this is just for gaming you could even go for a lower-end motherboard, unless there's a feature you specifically want from X670?
no other reason than i want the board to be a bit future proof(and also that board seems to be the only one they have in stock for that chipset)

corrrect me if im wrong dont only the newer boards have pcie 5.0?

It's the only one in stock with Wootware but if you include those in stock with their suppliers, there are more.

The one you linked doesn't have PCIe 5.0. Only the X670-E and B650-E boards have it. They are more expensive than their non-E counterparts.

yea i saw the supplier stock. was hoping to just order stuff they had in stock to speed things up even if the lead times are identical. seemed like a safe bet.

i guess the question now is how badly do i need pcie 5.0
probably dont need it right now but in the future who can say...

i'm thinking maybe i shouldn't overspend on the graphics card right now. and rather make sure the other stuff is future proof since a graphics card is easy enough to upgrade.

Even the 4090 barely saturates PCIe 3.0, never mind 4.0. So really needing 5.0 is a long way off.

Futureproofing is not a very strongly defined concept; you'll see most tech commentators recommend you buy the best you can afford given the currently available tech, and not worry too much about what's around the corner.

But at the end of the day it's your money.

You don’t need PCI-e 5.0.

It’s just an expensive tech that you’ll never actually fully use.

What you need to do is watch this RAM buying guide
