New Micro- ATX Build

Hey guys,

I need your input... I am getting back into the gaming scene and have begun assembling my parts to build the new rig... the first thing I got was a Micro-ATX Asus ROG board and so would like to build a small package big power machine... however all the Micro-ATX chassis are UUUUGLY ( that I have seen ). Ok so here comes my questions... is it easy to get a chassis made ? is it worth it, does it cost more than just buying one etc etc.

I know you guys have done a lot of from scratch builds so looking for some good info and help please guys.

Personally I would look at the silverstone TJ08-e, and get a windowed panel cut.

I had one, and im sad I let it go.

thanks dude looks nice... but looking for a chassis that hides cabling well.. from the pics I have seen this one would struggle.... also I have a idea for water cooling... thanks for the help bud

This chassis has all you need. I had 2 at one stage and here's one that was aircooled and had sli and lots of hdd's

No stock, and local supplier won't bring anymore in since Evetech brought in the Silverstone brand.

I had a long hard look at the Fractal Design Arc Mini, only reason I didn't go for it is because it only has 1 USB3 port. I'm hoping they'll release an R2 version soon that rectifies that, as well as potentially allowing for a 240/280mm radiator at the front. Note that unfortunately, this one can't be got hold of locally.

after some modding... definitely worth the modding if you want custom WC or if an H100 would fit

building your own chassis is a bit more difficult.

I would PM [MENTION=7311]Archer[/MENTION] and ask him for some tips as he made his own case

a while back I wanted to duplicate a panel on a case and got referred to a place called G&G Sheet Metal, based in Boksburg
not sure on their prices as I never got to it and I know if you want something done, you will have to give them close to exact details/measurements on your panels.
