Now I'm quite certain very few of you would be Alfa fans, but I quite like them.

This however, the New Giulia Quadrifoglio is more than like, it's making me very happy in pants.

It's................It's...........errrmmm, It's..............

This is something I might sell my wife for, and I'll take the Grey one. :D

This is the same Alfa that Jeremy Clarkson tested in I think the latest GrandTour episode. He fell in love with the car, but the only issue is the front doors are set in an awkward position for getting in and out of the car especialy when your big boy like him or me. Go and watch the episode if you would like to know what I mean regarding the door ;)

My dad has been an Alfa fan since he bought his first Guilia Super in the 70's, and I've followed him in his fandom. I think that regardless of whether they decide to work in the morning or not, they are some of the nicest looking cars ever made. I don't care if the doors come unhinged and fall off when you open them, I will proudly stand there and show off how pretty my Alfa door is :p
This is a damn good looking car. It reminds me of the feelings I got the first time I saw a Brera. Or an 8C. Or that once-off Disco Volante. Or....... etc etc.

You trying to scare everybody else away so you can have them all to yourself?

Do you think we'll see these demons locally? If so, I wonder at what price, it is sexy as hell

Haha you got me. But no, I'm not sure about their later cars, but let's be honest for a second, Alfas in general don't have the best track record when it comes to reliability. But they are the one car where it just doesn't matter. If it breaks down it just means you have more time to sit and stare at how pretty it is.

Correct, thats where I saw it first. But I'm thin and an entire head shorter than Clarkson, so I'll be an easy fit. Clarkson have also overdid the thing a bit on the not fitting part. I think he was trying to more sell the "Alfa has to have a problem" thing.

Not a Huge Alfa Fan but Ive always had a soft spot for the GTV6

Thats where my love for Alfa started. Those cars are still massive fun to drive, and has become collectors items. I'm sill one of the "There's no replacement for displacement" fans. There's something about more cylinders rubling under your foot that beats any turbo sound.

They had the SA launch(at Arnold Chatz at least) a week ago, the previous Thursday night. It's at least 300% out of my budget though.

I will say this, Alfa's reliability has vastly improved. My 2011 Giulietta has barely given me trouble. The thing that keeps me from buying another is the dealers(the Alfa/Fiat/Chrylser dealer on Hobart in particular) are horrible. I even called the FAGSA head office to complain about how I struggle to even get a quote from them, was told it would be investigated and have never heard back.

Such a pitty because I was sooo close to buying a 500 Abarth.

I never particularly like the "sporty" 4 door sedan cars out there. I reckoned they always looked ugly though some of them push out insane power figures.
This Alfa though...... I would buy it if I could afford it.

We going to see two versions.

One at R1.4m and one at R1.6m

Fucksakes, wayctoo much to afford. :(

Is it just me who thinks this is not that pretty ? (its the nose that messes up the look - that boot area is 100% perfect)

To me Alfas always seem ugly in pics but gorgeous in real life.
Gotta say the boot is a little too Audi, but I guess homogeneity is an affliction of most modern designs.

Side view reminds me of a three series BMW

Correct. Italian flair always looks better in real life.

I didn't like the nose initially, but most previous photos I saw was straight from the front. The Grand Tour episode Clarkson took it into a drift and video went slowmo, and that angle caught my attention. It grew on me very quickly after that.

I haven't followed the car at all or seen the episode on Top Gear but for that money, I would get a F80 M3 or Nissan GT-R

1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (Personaly I dont like it, because of reason nr2...
2. Its design really looks like a rip-off, the rear is too much similar to an audi, a bmw from the side and the front is way to weird, like they were trying to hard to modernise the old allready stupid alfa nose/front.
3. I agree with the other folks, I would rather spend that amount of money on a GT-R or something way better

Whoa! The car looks so crap in those professional photos but looks absolutely gorgeous in your photo [emoji52]

Dude, it's absolutely gorgeous! It's simply so much better looking than an M3/C63.....

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Bmw Fanatic, but there is just something about this Alfa.
