I've had my PC little more than a year now. I don't have any of the original packaging.

Iv'e got an i5, a GTX 970, 8G DDR3 ram, a 500 watt PSU and lastly 150Gig Solid state.

I'm planning to sell the case and I would like to know if you guys can give me an estimate of
how much I can ask for it.

I'll offer you R4000 :)

It's very difficult to suggest a price based on the details given. Your i5 could be a 2400 or a 7600k. The ram no-name-brand or Dominator Platinum. The PSU a silver box or a Corsair. Also, what motherboard does it have?

Take the time to get some more detail and you'll get more info in return. You're going to need that extra detail when in comes to selling anyway.

I think the value is gonna rise and fall on the quality of the PSU.

970 goes for 2500-3500 depending on seller. Quality of psu will play a part and what type of i5.. I'd start @R8000.. Compare it to a evetech budget build if you must. It also includes windows I assume where as a budget evetech build won't..
