Need advice PSU + Cable extension compatibility

I have a raidmax cobra 1200w PSU and looking to put these cable extensions on the Phankteks cable extensions.
I will not plug it directly onto the psu box, I will extend it from the original cobra's cables, is this something I can do? Can you do these extensions with any power supply? I'm just scared because I saw some videos of this, and people blow up the motherboard, but I think it is because they plug the extensions into the psu box itself.

I have used those same extensions on a HX1000i, no issues what so ever.

A used these, first my GPU started acting up about 1.5 years back with the gpu extension, and about 3week back I started getting weird ass restarts on my pc, then I ripped out the 24pin and the 8pin EPS and issue resolved, so don't know if I got a bad batch but I won't touch PSU extension again.
