UPDATE!!!
after re-sealing the the tub,i did another test today,and [drum roll] it didnt leak!!!!!!.
i was recording the temps every 5 mins with a little freezer thermometer and and a laser one.and here is what the 55 min test looked like:

05 19.8
10 14.5
15 10.0
20 8.3
25 5.3
30 3.5
35 1.8
40 0.8
45 0.9 (note:from here on the laser thermometer read: -2.6)
50 0.9
55 0.9
now,after the 40th minute ice began to form on the radiator (i attribute this to the cheap antifreeze containing too much water...) and from there thermal efficiency went down the drain.
