I used them for mining, but they were taken care of really well. I cleaned it every month with a friend.

The fan speed was 60% throughout and the power draw was set between 50% and 60%. Temps were around 58 C and no more than 65 C on warm days.

The thermal pads between the PCB and the backplate were replaced with Gelid Thermal Pads. The original pads leaked an oily residue and wanted a cooler temperature during the summer. Warranty is NOT affected.

The back-plate screws did not have any stickers. There is only one sticker on the GPU's cooler X-plate and that was not touched. We also have the original pads to give with if the new owner wants it.

Agreed. Even if you manage to save the stickers in and everything looks fine. They will still void the warranty if they see the changed thermalpads. MSI has a strict no opening/no mining policy.

Lucky for us, the x-plate screws dont need to be removed to remove the backplate at all. As such, no warranty stickers were even touched

Keep original pads and if you need to rma, just refit it.

No as far as i can tell they only changed the pads on the back side of the card underneath the backplate and not the pads next the hearsink

Just to be clear here; ONLY the backplate was removed. As I'm sure you gents know, the cooler is completely separate from the backplate.

So no, the cooler was never removed. That would definitely have affected the warranty sticker.

I had a few gigabyte cards with no warranty stickers on the x plate. Could do a repaste if you wanted without voiding the warranty.
