Deal not fully concluded.still awaiting backplate and screws.

Hi Guys

not sure how to report this as a bad deal.
i was informed that the card was faulty but shows up in safe mode as the seller mentioned.
i met the seller last Thursday or Friday if not mistaken.
When i got the card the fans was not screwed in it was hanging out.
the seller then mentioned he tried to water cool it and the back plate was missing(not mentioned in sale).
he said the serial was in tact but that was not the case as the backplate was not screwed in.
i gave him the benefit of the doubt as he said he would ship the screws that was missing and the backplate this has not happened.
i was not able to test the card or see if i could repair cause of the screws and backplate.i managed to get some screws yesterday from a friend who had a broken msi gtx 760.
While cleaning the card as it was realling in a dirty condition i stripped it down all the thermal pads was damaged alot more of the screws was missing with alot of gunk under all the heatsinks.
i cleaned the card with alcohol on inspection i found a burnt resistor on the back of the card this was not-mentioned in the sale.

Yes i did take the risk on a broken/faulty card but the seller should have been more forth coming.
He does not respond to my messages sent today.the reason i took a card from him as he seems to have alot of cards just from browsing the forums and i wanted to check him out before i bought any other cards
that was more expensive.
i do feel he was not very honest in deal and did not mention alot more faults with the card.
i paid him the R900 i even gave him a extra R100 just cause he said he was coming from Rustenburg.
i offered him a coffee and a coke as we met at a restaurant in Monte Casino had a chat for a bit a few smokes.
Which he took more smokes from me as he said it was for the road(i did giggle a bit on the inside :) )

He said he was from Rustenburg.but on other deals he is from Roodeport, GP i picked that up today.
Also the guy then sent a pm over the weekend saying he lost his phone while going back, apparently he was taking taxis to get to jhb and then back to Rustenburg.
He did mention he was a miner and he wants to get rid of his cards now but some other crazy prices for cards.
Its cool i only lost 1k he is not going to get rich off it,this was the easiest way for me to check out the guy and his cards.

So buyers please be weary of this seller his cards are not in good condition all the other cards he was going to sell that day was just dumped in his backpack in pick and pay packets no anti static bags.

Thanks

Seller contacted me :

This is what he had to say.

"i knew nothing about the resistor bro, secondly i did inform you the card has been tested on water cooling, and i made it a point i sell the card as a faulty card...refund is unplanned has no available funds..."

I said to him there was stuff he did not mention in the sale in his post and he should know exactly what he is selling.
Yes he did mention he tried water cooling the card but only on the day of meeting i let it slide.but he should have seen the burnt resistor and should have mentioned all thermal pads was damaged, not to mention all the missing screws and back plate.
Know one in the right mind will put a gpu in their machine if it has burnt resistors.
The deal was it boots up in windows in safe mode and not everything else wrong that i found out about the card.
In know ways i will put a burnt card even in my crappiest mobo and certainly would have not done the deal with him.

This was plain deceitful.
