Well, I assumed because I no longer have the proof of purchase (receipt) or packaging, the warranty would be void...? I don't know about these things so I do apologise if I am incorrect in this assumption

Ah no, that's right. I just didn't know about the invoice and overlooked the packaging.

Yea, when I got it, I didn't know that I would not love it as much as I hoped it would, so all the packaging etc is all long gone..
