I'm currently looking at upgrading to a 32inch curved screen. Mainly for work with occasional gaming.

Both these options below have caught my eye and I'm looking for personal experiences or opinions on these monitors to make my final choice.

Samsung Odyssey G5 vs AOC CQ32G3SE G Line 3rd Gen

Opinions?
Just looking for some before making the final choice.

Probably should have posted this at a more reasonable hour :ROFLMAO:

Whichever you get, familiarise yourself with people's Evetech horror stories before you buy from them. Lots of places without horror stories to rather buy from.

Firstly, why are you looking at Evetech's website? DO NOT BUY FROM EVETECH. It's 2023, you should know this by now.

The Samsung has higher typical brightness (300 vs 250) so it should give a better HDR experience, though neither is really going to give you much in that respect. AOC has a higher contrast ratio (3000:1 vs 2500:1).

The Samsung claims 1 HDMI port while the AOC claims 2. Not sure if that's a deal breaker for you but something to consider.

Thanks everyone for the insights 🙏.

Will be steering clear of Evetech (y).

For what its worth, I don't have a curved screen. Running a LG 32GN600 and it's still a banger at the asking price. For what it's worth, also check on the Dell S3222DGM.

I've heard some horror stories about AOC, so I'm steering clear of them for the time being. That being said, experiences differ so you might get one that's perfectly fine.

Been looking for a new monitor for long now and since my bike dream won't realize the monitor is going to be my treat

Went looking at some dell's this weekend 32' 1440 and 27' 1080 and both looked hyper kak.

I can't spend more than 7k and really want 32' but seems that will be low res than

Requirements are 27' 1440min and curved , current front runner is the S2722DGM

High refresh rate isn't as needed cause I don't play such intense games

Please gooi some recommendations :)

This is what I currently use and honestly there's nothing wrong with it but it might give you a good idea of the type of stuff i"m looking at
