Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting some mesh for my custom front panel for the prodigy build.

Do any of you know where one would find something like this (one on the left)?:

Alternatively, I thought of just purchasing another front panel for the prodigy which comes with the mesh type and cannibalising that instead. :p

Shot!

n00bie™ out...

@ AtiBoy > Thanks a million, will check them out! :)

watch how Attie brags there about his "Black and Yellow" build, careful not to mention that it's a HAF-XB

EVIL I SAY, PURE EVIL!!!!

:p :D

/me ponders using some of this on my PRODIGY WHITE AND BLACK build :)

I reckon cannibalising is easier and more cost effective.

Agree with you 150% - The panel I can get for R199 incl. shipping, and then I know it's the right mesh, i.e. will tie in with the rest of the mesh on the prodigy.

Shot for the info tho chaps!

Meh... only problem... can't seem to find anyone that has stock locally. :(

ETA May only - guess I'll try and order from RS Components then. ;)

Next problem... can only order 2x sheets which works out to more than double of that of the replacement front panel.

Oh lawd...... *facepalm*

Lemme think about it a bit and decide. lol

Probably a stupid idea, but did you try autostyle, maybe people use that for grills.

Hey dude, I went to the car-accessories shop in China Town - also thought people might use it for a grill. :p But alas they only have normal car grill type mesh.

thread necro...

come on peeps, any1 find a decent place where you can get nice variety of mesh?

We used something similar at work a while back. Stainless steel mesh. Got it from a place called Ludwici MeshCape (or something?? cant find it online, yellow pages might yield something) in Johannesburg. They were pricey, but shouldn't be too bad for the amount you are looking for. You can also try Merco, but they deal more in industrial mesh (maybe they can point you to another supplier?).

Goodluck man. Be sure to post pics of your build when you're done!:D
