did you buy that gas bottle outright?

Yes, a seller in boksburg area sells them, but works the same a s LP gas with air liquide, pay for the bottle, and then swap it out for a new one of choice, so should you wish to get 100% argon or a 25/75 mix, they just swap it out with a “refill” fee, anything from R700 to R900 depending on the choice of gas

Why Did you buy a chipping hammer for a Mig welder?

Its a multi purpose welder, mig tig and stick, so the chipping hammer was used when stick welding was done.
i didn’t do tig due to tig being scratch start,

interesting: cause I could only BUY the smaller 10kg bottle but would have loved the 17kg one but could only rent them

did you do Argon+CO2 welding? how "clean" is this triple gas compared?
