Please bare with my relative indecision, this is the (hopeful) end to a months active searching on a 7 year old question(revisited every too often).
my trusty blackwidow (v1, bought off carb in 2012ish) is aging badly ,button rattle and space bar collapse and the lack of back lighting is annoying.
it has lasted extremely well and budget has kept it in use as long as i can justify for gaming.
in addition, my work keyboard has given up the ghost(dell kb522) and has recently started putting my machines into sleep mode randomly leaving me typing on a logitech k120.
this unassuming OEM keyboard replaced my g110 almost seamlessly for work after a coffee spill and put in years of daily graft, it has left me reliant on volume roller, wrist wrest and and mute button.

I am looking for quieter switch, possibly mx brown/red or equivalent to help maintain shared home office sanity(mx blues are loud af when i get into a rant or important email)
I am a massive fan of the blackwidow from a quality perspective and the chroma v2's wrist wrest appeals to my aging gamer claw
backlighting is a requirement, rgb unicron fart effect non essential, if it can cycle solid colors i'm thrilled, cant see jack in the dark on my current setup.

I have this one: Cooler Master CK350.

The Outemu Reds are really good, just a hint more "scratchy" than the equivalent Cherrys, but they still feel good to type on.

The keyboard has basic RGB that is controlled by fn+ combos on the keyboard itself - no software to slow down your PC.

Build quality also feels great, the top is aluminium and everything. That said the aluminium means there is a slight pinging noise when bottoming out the keys, so I got a set of O-rings which made a difference.

I use it every day at work and nobody has ever commented on its noise. So I think this may tick all your boxes.

Look to be sorted for now, thanks to all that replied
