Okay so I recently went through my Steam library to see if there are any old games I want to play and first of all I saw Max Payne 3 and decided to install it and play it again. Was great playing this old game and still a lot of fun. After finishing it I decided to try another and saw that I have Mafia 2 classic but also Mafia 2 Definitive edition. Checked the difference and decided I want to try out the Definitive edition. Installed it all great and started playing. I finished 4 or 5 chapters and then all of a sudden the game started crashing, resetting my computer. I reverted back to running all default, GPU , CPU and memory but still the issue persist.
Searching on Google it seems as though it is a common issue and 2K Games does not want to fix it. So my question is, do any of you have a means or way by which to get the game to work properly without crashing?
Any help will be appreciated.
