Looking to Upgrade my Setup

Hi Guys

Currently got

i7 7700
Asus H1110m-r Mobo
16 Gb XPG 2400GHZ ram

What would be a decent upgrade over this?

Also what would my parts be worth so i can know what the cash diffrence is i need to pay in?

I was thinking

My Budget is +- R6000-R8000

Only gaming as i use my laptop for anything work related

Okay, I have put a couple of small lists together from Wootware.

AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
Gskill 32GB 5600Mhz DDR5 Expo Memory
Gigabyte A620M H Rev 1.0(I based the requirements of M.2/Sata slots on the motherboard that was in the Evetech link and this motherboard is similar)
Cost:R8350
The benefits of this hardware is it's DDR5 and currently the latest platform (AM5) from AMD, Should be able to upgrade to the next couple of generations of CPUs no problems.

Same shop but an AM4/DDR4 System.
AMD Ryzen 5 5600(Same you linked in your original post) for an additional R250 you can get the 5600X(If I recall correctly the X variants do not come with CPU coolers)
Corsair 32 GB 3600Mhz DDR4
MSI A520M-A PRO
Cost: R6697.00 Exl delivery.
Benefit: Cheaper
Disadvantage: Older platform AM4/DDR4, Only real upgrade path for gaming would be the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and I'm not sure how readily available they'll be in the future.

I did check Intel but it will be pricer for similar performance.

As to why I suggest avoiding Evetech, Just search the Carbonite forum for all the scummy tactics, poor service and general fckups which defines what Evetech is.

Please look closely at the advice. There are very good reasons why the community do not trust thieve tech. Also there a lot of good resellers on Carb you can give a go.
