Looking for introduction at Afrihost

Hi All.

Firstly, i really hope it's OK that i mention Afrihost's name here. If it isn't i'll take it down immediately. I am a client of theirs and i really want it to stay that way.

I currently rent a managed server from Afrihost. I reasonably often need support regarding server-related services. I have to go through the regular support system - the same as everybody else. It is an extremely frustrating situation. The support staff do not understand the issues i am facing, give poor advice and waste a lot of time. If i have a client experiencing an issue and the problem lies with the server, i need upstream support in a time-sensitive manner. Having front-line support copy+paste the same non-relevant info isn't helpful.

This is a last ditched effort to get the support i need. The service actually isn't bad, but the support is not well-structured. It's not bashing them either - they are doing the best they can.

I am looking for an introduction at Afrihost to someone that can either help me, or connect me with someone who can. Someone in server support who can help me resolve the more technical issues. Please send me a message if you can help.

Please don't use this thread to just bash brands - let's keep it positive and on-point.

I use Absolute hosting and they are fantastic.
Even on a friday evening before signing up were they replying to emails about issues experienced.

When you do require support, they are on the ball and very quick to assist.

HI hansa , any chance you can forward me his contact info as well, we are having real difficulties with Afrihost tech advisors, you'd swear they employ them straight out of primary school.

Simple Solution is to move to Azure or AWS and manage it yourself
