[Wanted] Looking a for a cheap cheap full system

The security guard at my complex is looking for a pc setup for his son who is trying to get into photo editing and possibly music production.
He has all the peripherals.
In need of a box, cpu, mobo, ram, psu, storage.

As basic as possible.

His budget is R1k and could probably stretch it a bit more.

I'm also happy to contribute a bit.

Hoping to find an older gen i3 or i5 with 8gb ram for the guy.

Please comment if you have anything or any leads on where to source it.
