I have the logitech z407 speakers, they've worked well since 2021. About 2 weeks ago, the sound would cut out mid watching anything and there would be an (almost) interfering sound like back in the days.. if left it goes away...or to stop it, i would put the speakers on mute then back to sound and that would be it.
Then 2 days ago, there was a static noise coming from the sub, i switched off the pc, unplugged the speakers from the pc and the AC... after that I keep getting USB device not recognised (Windows 11)
It would work on and off and I would plug into another usb, until that port also showed device not recognised.
DevManager does show a yellow exclamation mark - i've tried uninstalling the usb, i've tried a different usb cable, i've tried updating windows to latest updates... but nothing is working.
The speakers doesn't even show up in the Output list when I check.
Any one experience this before or have some pointers as to what this could be and how to fix it.
01 May 2024 - I have tried the speakers on my laptop to confirm whether it is the actual USB port on the motherboard or on the speakers (sub) .. I got the same error that the usb device is not recognised or has malfunctioned.
Bluetooth connection works, but sound is slightly delayed - which for my husband is not good when he watches movies, because he looks for things like that
