Item: Linksys 24-Port 10/100/1000 Managed Gigabit Switch with WebView
Age: No idea
Warranty: None
Condition: Should still work - Lights up fine however I dont have a console cable to log in setup gateway
Location: Randburg
Shipping: If you must

I did read the rules and it doesnt mention anything about not being able to post up 2x PIF threads at the same time. If I did miss such a rule, please do let me know and I will take one of them down.

Good peeps, maybe some of you can help me.. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.. Not really a expert with these things..

I have received this PIF but once connected to power the System light just keeps on flickering and that's about it.

Between all the YT videos I've seen,, they all have a continuous solid System light and the fans starts kicking in on startup..
I've tried via ethernet to also connect but even with static IP, there is no signal.

short clip of the issue

Thanks guys!

DHCP might be disabled. Connect Linksys switch to Eth port on existing router/switch on your network and give it a min or 2

Could be boot rom? These things can be reloaded though.

Also if you are able to get hold of a console cable it helps a ton to see what these things are doing.
As the boot process will most times serial print. You can connect to the console terminal and reboot the
switch. This should give you an idea of what the switch is doing. note aswell that switches may be
programmed in certain ways. EG the management of the switch might be tied to a vlan which might be tied
to a specific port. Thats a little harder to work with.

Hope this helps you. Feel free to DM if you want to troubleshoot beyond this.
