Hey guys. After being "retired" for 6 months or so, I just feel bored and need something to keep me busy. Lot's of thanks to SILTECH786 for pushing me to restart this as well.
So I'm reopening my LED thread with the stuff you guys are used to from me as well as some new items. I've also replaced some items with better, more efficient stuff (eg.. the USB adaptors are no longer needed because of the arrival of my 5v LED strips)

LED Description

Thanks to Giovanni for this video:

Approximately 50cm LED strip (+- 30 leds).
DC 12v powered through a 3pin Fan header or Molex Connector on an approximate 50cm cable. (See above pics)
I'm also working on a 5v USB powered version of these.
The strips can be cut after every 3 LEDs (5cm) should the need arise for it to be shortened. I can also make them longer should anyone require that. (Price can be discussed either way within reason)

NOTES
All strips have a waterproof coating unless otherwise stated
Colours like pink and light blue are made up of mixing RGB leds and are not pure colours, although you can't really tell unless you look directly at them
If I do get the 5v single colours right, it'll also be because of using RGB LEDs. So even your Red, Blue, White and Green will be running off the RGB strip
The image above of the Pink Glass is an example of how bright the UV can illuminate
A little note of interest, if you set the RGB strip just right, you can illuminate UV reactive parts/paints with 2 different colours. A bluish and a purplish colour. See below for an example of blue.
The pictures above of the lighted strips were edited for better viewing. Actual pictures of the products can be seen here as well as some extras.

DISCLAIMER
While I have used these strips before and had them last a long time (around 3 years and only getting a little bit dim), I will not guarantee that it'll last the same for you. My soldering only failed me once but other than that not a single return. See below for a sample of a 1.5 year old strip
All Remotes require a CR2025 battery (CR2032 fits more neatly). Batteries not included
All pictures are for illustrative purposes only. Actual product may vary

SAMPLES
Ok so I have these 2 samples posted below. The first one is the 1st set of LED strips I did after joining carb. The client is not a carb member and I did it for him before even starting my LED threads. This pic featured below was taken this month, more than 1.5 years after he bought it from me. As you can see it's still pretty bright. I would also like to request some of my first carb clients to post pics of their rigs with the lights. I don't really remember all of you except MarcelViviers and fromthewatt

This next one is a pic of my rig at it's prime. An example of using the RGB strip to activate UV reactive items, in this case, my custom sleeved cables courtesy of Beyond Customs

A whole bunch of other samples can be found at this link. I'm not attaching them here as they would slow down loading time so much more than it is already. Samples include pictures of different colours, mixed colours, videos of rgb setups as well as Toxxyc338's UV lit PC. If any of the members wish that their PC be removed from the link, please PM me and I will remove it. Also if you wish for your PC to be featured on my upcoming website, please take some Hi-Res photos and I'll create an editable gdrive folder for you to put it in.

Can you you make 12v strips that connect direct to motherboards that support it?

If you're talking about the RGB strips for the new boards, yes it's under my products listed above. R100 for a 50cm white PCB. R150 for a 50cm black PCB.

The 4 pin cable that connects to the led header on the motherboard, what lengths do you have for those?

I can make it any length, but by default it's 50cm

Have had Normal Green strips, RGB with RF Remote, White Strips and now RGB Strip with the RGB header. All been excellent quality with 0 issues

The ones listed for new gen motherboards with RGB support, does the connector just plug into the motherboard and draw all its power from the board itself or is there additional power needed?

I was mentioned, I was a bit slow for a few days. Anyway, credit where credit is due, because credit is for sure due. So a few months ago I bought a UV LED strip from Fox. Shipped and all that all working nicely. Ran it for a while and only noticed after a bit that the shine wasn't as bright as it used to be. Turns out the waterproof coating on the strips kept the heat in the strip and damaged the LEDs. I informed him of this purely to let him know, but he insisted and shipped me a new strip without the waterproofing free of charge. Well the new strip is in and has been running for a while, and it's holding up MUCH better than before. So yeah, some pics to convince you peoples:

Here's my case before and lighting installed:

And then after, the glow is incredible. This is a 1m UV LED strip, directly on a Molex power connector:

And, finally, with the help of just a single coat of some cheap-ass glow-in-the-dark paint:

The glow is persistent, but not troubling. I sat next to this rig for 2 days straight now and it didn't bother me even once - in darkness or light. What's nice about it in darkness is that it highlights everything without producing a massive glare. Things like the mousepad glows faintly so I can easily locate drinks or the mouse without looking hard, yet is doesn't "glow" really. It's weird. I love it!

Bump.. Month-end specials available. PM for details

Thanks to Fox22743 for the amazing gift! See below some pics of the led strips installed. Everyone should have one they are amazing!

Purchased 2m of LEDs and they are seriously awesome. Fox22743 is a really cool guy and friendly.
Had issues with factory fault in a set of 3 LEDs, was replaced in full.

I agree with The_Jelly Buy this man's product!

Bought three strips from @Fox22743 last week, and getting another one again soon.

Great guy to deal with, and really fun to chat to as well.

Unfortunately some people aren't fond of the chatting part. Don't worry though guys. Just tell me straight that you don't wanna talk [emoji16]

Haha luckily no such concern here, as long as I have time.

The banter maketh the bargain.

Hey hey hey... This isn't a sex chat thread. Toxxyc338 your prices seem a tad high though. Unless that's a years worth

I'll chat till the other person begs me to stop, is that acceptable?

Looks like some strange BDSM stuff going on here... I likely, do you charge more??

The derailment of the thread is real xD

But the re-railment (yay I made up a word), I received my replacement LEDs and I am more than happy! Thanks again Fox22743

Hey Fox,

This might be a stupid question but aside from wanting to buy these LED strips for my case, I also want to buy them for my bed base (I know it sounds a bit weird) but will that work? I have one of those bases that I build from wood palets so I saw somewhere that people put lights under the bed and it looked quite cool.

I was just wondering how the power source will work for that and if you think that you will be able to help out?
