Hey guys. Here's the new thread for the leds with updated pricing and all the different options that I currently have. Please remember that while all ready made prices are listed below, DIY options & bulk pricing is available for resellers etc. Also special pricing applies to custom strips for special applications. I'm located in Pretoria East and shipping can also be arranged for a small fee.
LED Description
Approximately 50cm LED strip (+- 30 leds on most. If it's different, I'll mention it).
DC 12v powered through a 3pin Fan header or Molex Connector on an approximate 50cm cable. (See above pics)
I also have 5v USB powered strips as well as 5v ARGB strips.
Most of the strips can be cut after every 3 LEDs (5cm) should the need arise for it to be shortened. I can also make the cables or strips longer should anyone require that. (Price can be discussed either way within reason)
The ARGB/Digital RGB strips can be cut after each LED. On the WS2812B it's around 3.3cm.
Available LED Options
12v White PCB Red, Green, White, Blue, Yellow, Pink OR Light Blue 50cm LED Strip - R100 (R20 extra per 50cm)
12v Black PCB Cool White, 50cm LED Strip - R100 (R20 extra per 50cm)
12v Black PCB UV, 50cm LED Strip (Non waterproof) - R100 (R30 extra per 50cm)
5v Black PCB Red, Green, White, Blue, Yellow, Pink OR Light Blue 50cm LED Strip (USB powered) - R100 each (R30 extra per 50cm)
12v Black PCB, RGB, 50cm Strip only (for boards and cases with RGB support) - R100 (R25 extra per 50cm)
12v Black PCB, RGBW, 50cm Strip only (for boards with RGBW support) - R100 (R25 extra per 50cm)
5v Black PCB, ARGB (WS2812B), 50cm Strip only (for boards with ARGB/Digital RGB support. ONLY 15 LEDs per 50cm) - R100 (R35 extra per 50cm)
Controllers & Accessories
Coolermaster 3 button RGB controller (C10L) - R30 (These are OEM units)
USB 3 button RGB Controller - R40
44 Key RGB IR Remote & Receiver - R70
17 Key RGB RF Remote & Receiver - R80
40 Key RGBW RF Remote & Receiver - R80
Bluetooth ARGB Controller (SP105e) - R220 (Works on most ARGB Strips including the SK6812. Controlled VIA Magic-LED on Android or Apple)
10 Port ARGB Splitter hub - R120
Magnetic Backing for LED strips - R20 per 50cm
2A AC to DC 12v Adaptor - R50
5A AC to DC 12v Adaptor - R80
Bundles
12v Black PCB, RGB, 50cm with a 44 key IR Remote & Receiver - R150 (R25 extra per 50cm)
12v Black PCB, RGB, 50cm with a 17 key RF Remote & Receiver - R160 (R25 extra per 50cm)
5v Black PCB, RGB, 50cm with a 17 key RF Remote & Receiver - R180 (R30 extra per 50cm strip)
12v Black PCB, RGBW, 50cm with a 40 Key RF Remote & Receiver - R160 (R25 extra per 50cm)
5v Black PCB, ARGB (WS2812B), 50cm with a Bluetooth Controller (ONLY 15 LEDs per 50cm) - R280 (R35 extra per 50cm)
NOTES
All strips have a waterproof coating unless otherwise stated
Colours like pink and light blue are made up of mixing RGB leds and are not pure colours, although you can't really tell unless you look directly at them
If I do get the 5v single colours right, it'll also be because of using RGB LEDs. So even your Red, Blue, White and Green will be running off the RGB strip
The image above, of the Pink Glass, is an example of how bright the UV can illuminate
The pictures above of the lighted strips were edited for better viewing. Actual pictures of the products can be seen here as well as some extras.
Please note that the RGBW strips are alternating LEDs (1x RGB, 1x Cool White, 1x RGB, 1x Cool White etc)
The ARGB (WS2812B) option works on Asus Aura, Gigabyte Fusion and MSI Mystic Light
The 12v RGB strips can be made to work on Phanteks cases as well
DISCLAIMER
While I have used these strips before and had them last a long time (around 3 years and only getting a little bit dim), I will not guarantee that it'll last the same for you. My soldering only failed me once but other than that not a single return due to my workmanship. See below for a sample of a 1.5 year old strip
All Remotes require a CR2025 battery (CR2032 can also work). Batteries not included
All pictures are for illustrative purposes only. Actual product may vary
SAMPLES
Ok so I have these 2 samples posted below. The first one is the 1st set of LED strips I did after joining carbonite. The client is not a carbonite member and I did it for him before even starting my LED threads. This pic featured below was taken more than 1.5 years after he bought it from me. As you can see it's still pretty bright.
This next one is a pic of my rig back in 2016. An example of using the RGB strip to activate UV reactive items, in this case, my custom sleeved cables.
A whole bunch of other samples can be found at this link. I'm not attaching them here as they would slow down loading time so much more than it is already. Samples include pictures of different colours, mixed colours, videos of rgb setups as well as a UV lit PC. If any of the members wish that their PC be removed from the link, please PM me and I will remove it. Also if you wish for your PC to be featured on my upcoming website, please take some Hi-Res photos and I'll create an editable gdrive folder for you to put it in.
