Pics:

Really nice 3-seater couch / sofa with the third seat being an extended daybed. Dark brown leatherette material (not genuine leather). Very comfortable and good looking.

The 2-seater section can be separated from the daybed to give you more flexibility to position it within your space. This also makes transporting it easier.

The overall structure, cushioning and other elements of the sofa are in excellent condition. However, the leatherette material has been worn out by use, and requires re-upholstering. I've uploaded some close-up shots of how the leatherette has deteriorated in many areas. The original leatherette looked really nice when it was new, but it deteriorated very quickly, without much use. This was in our front lounge, which hardly gets used. I later found out that it is "Pellisima" leather which is a Chinese blend of leather fibres and synthetics that just isn't good.

With some work done by a re-upholsterer, this can be turned into a really nice piece. It is very comfortable and of good quality, but needs some TLC.

Brand new and with fabric, these cost at least R15,000. In genuine leather, they start at R20,000 all the way to R35,000 depending on quality of leather. I'm selling this for a very low price of just R7,000, as it will require some additional expense to turn it into a masterpiece.
