Hey guys, im going to be in the market for a new keyboard, mouse and headset soon. I would just like some recommendations.
I would prefer a mechanical keyboard and a headset that will work great for PC and PS4

I've been looking at the:

Corsair Gaming K95 RGB
and Corsair VOID 7.1 wireless

Try to stick to one brand so you don't need to have multiple background programs running and for syncing purposes :)

Cooler Master Options:
- Headset : MasterPulse
- Keyboard : MasterKeys S (tenkeyless) or MasterKeys L
- Mouse : MasterMouse S, MasterMouse L, or Alcor

Corsair Options:
- Headset : Void (Wired/Wireless)
- Keyboard : K63/K65 RGB (Tenkeyless), K68, K70 RGB LUX, K95, Strafe
- Mouse : Glaive or Sabre

Cougar Options:
- Headset : Immersa
- Keyboard : Ultimus, 600K, or Attack X3
- Mouse : Revenger, Minos X3, or 450M

HyperX Options: (All Red LED's)
- Headset : Cloud
- Keyboard : Alloy FPS
- Mouse : PulseFire

Logitech Options:
- Headset : G533 (wireless), G633 (wired), or G933 (wireless)
- Keyboard : G Pro/G410 (tenkeyless), G413, G810, G910
- Mouse : G403, G Pro, or G102 (mine, can vouch for)

Razer Options:
- Headset : ManO'War or Kraken
- Keyboard : BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition (Tenkeyless) or BlackWidow Chroma
- Mouse : DeathAdder Elite, Lancehead, or Abyssus(not RGB)

Anyone else feel free to add to that if I missed anything :)

PS. If you interested, I'm selling a sealed Logitech G410 RGB Tenkeyless Mechanical Keyboard with a 2 year warranty by Loot (some self-advertising :p)

Got a Siren 2 myself. Can vouch that it's an amazing headset for the price.

Edit: Just note it uses a USB port.

I can vouch for both the DeathAdder mouse (using the Chroma) as well as the Redragon Deverajas Mech Kb.
Both feel just right. the mouse is perfect if your hands are not minutely small and the kb is the nicest kb I have used out of 3 different mech kb's.

Thanks guys, this gives me so many options which is great!

i currently have a Razer Lycosa that ive had for years!still an amazing keyboard and that usb and audio jack on the keyboard really comes in handy.
and i have a razer Abyssus but it broke a couple years ago and is still sitting in my drawer it connects but the sensor doesn't seem to work, i thought i could fix it but couldn't get it working and think i stuffed it up lol.

i was also looking at the razer ornata which looks nice, but the razer headsets seem to not be the greatest for PS4. im very fond of razer, but i am also willing to try other brands as razer doesn't have the biggest variety

Honestly a budget would really help here. You've got the Redragon options which should easily come in at under 2K combined, maybe a little over, maybe even close to 1K depending on choice. And then you've got the Razer option which costs like 5K and beyond.

Love my setup: K70 LUX MX cherry browns and a Death Adder Elite.
Fantastic in every sense of the word.

Yeah a budget would of helped, but im looking at all options at the moment. the mouse will probably be purchased last. thats why im not really looking at a mouse just yet.

budget is probably about 4k but im still waiting so it can vary easily which is why i didn't put a budget in the post.

He is highly recommended all over, certainly helped me decide on my Logitech mouse and keyboard :)

Ah ok, just wanted to make sure you weren't thinking like 1-2K and here people are happily giving you much more expensive options.

And bah to you looking at a mouse last, it's the very first peripheral I'd replace. Can't stand light generic low DPI mice. I can type on a crappy 80 bucks keyboard for ages if need be, but please give me a proper weighty high DPI mouse. But that's just me I guess, I'd do mouse, headset, keyboard in that order personally.

Like i said in the previous post, i had the razer abyssus, when its sensor went i had to get a new mouse, and im happily gaming with my Armageddon Aquila X5, so it should still last me awhile, but the keyboard needs a upgrade and the headset is nowhere.

I think I'm gonna get the razer blackwidow chroma v2.

I'm so torn on a headset ugh! Every bad review I see somewhere I get worried and change my mind haha.

The kraken 7.1 v2 sounds good but a lot of people saying it's not surround sound on ps4 like the v1, the kraken is good but it's headstraps are cheaply made and break after about 10 months. I started looking at arctis 7s aswell but they say it's audio isn't so great either.

I even looked at the Astros which are affordable without the amp, but might not be worth it without the amp.

Gosh, getting a great headset for pc is so easy but getting one that's also great om ps4 and pc isn't so easy lol

I'm the end I'll probably just do the kraken v2 since it's also razer..

What setup did you get? I'm currently also looking and I feel the same way about the bad reviews.
I was looking at the Razer Basilisk, Ornata Chroma and Man o War headset,
Or Steelseries Rival 700 and Arctis 7 headset. Their keyboards are expensive and not really appealing.

Hi, so I was in exactly the same boat but ended up selling my PS4 Pro....

Playstation can only take usb, so only get headphones with a usb cable and PS doesn't allow you to install software so a bunch of the more complex headphone won't work at all and few will but will have a weird basic sound.

I ended with the Wireless Void RGB Pro, Logitech G502 and Corsair k70 LUX MX Silent. This is for my PC build though and not the PS.

It mostly depends on your budget, you get some nice headphones for about R800 on Evetech, the Astro A10 are good and the Corsair HS50.

I always suggest Cherry MX Silent mech keyboards as a lot of people get sick of the loud noise and no one wants to hear you smashing your keys of TS, Discord or whatever VOIP.

The mouse is quite dependent on your hand and what you find comfortable. Check out Rocketjumpninja on youtube, he loves his mice and has some decent videos on keyboards as well.

Hope this helped :D

What setup did you get?
So I ended up going with the steelseries arctis 7s and the razer blackwidow v2, I'm pleased with both purchases, but also a little underwhelmed. I didn't have the greatest gear and upgraded and had really high expectations.

The headset is nice, but I feel it's not the best, the keyboard is very cool with the settings, RGB, foam pad and it being mechanical. But I also was a bit underwhelmed as it was pretty pricey, I guess I was just expecting more for the price, not sure what more could be though.

I'm not disappointed in what I have but I wouldn't mind to try some other keyboards like the lux and other headsets too just to be able to compare a little. But if I didn't get the arctis I would have fone with the man o war too. But so far I haven't had any issues with the equipment even though I was really nervous because of the view bad reviews I saw.

I moved from the Sennheisser Game Zero to the Arctis 7 a few weeks back. I find the sound from the Arctis 7 to be pretty dammed good. Picked them up for R1,299.
Only issue is long gaming sessions hurt my ears as they touch the drivers. This is a common problem and resolved by replacing the cups with the leather ones. So ordered a pair off Amazon.

Edit: I use the razor surround pro software for virtual 7.1. Does an amazing job with the Arctis 7.

So I ended up going with the steelseries arctis 7s and the razer blackwidow v2,

How is the bass on the Arctis 7? The one review I saw said it was'nt bad. They get a good score from a few reviews. I'm really keen on a wireless headset as I am spoiled with my wireless earbuds which are quite comfy.
I am worried that a R2500 headset won't be any better than the buds though. The buds have a lot of bass, almost too much.

Not much bass, like that's the only bad thing is there isn't a lot of base, but you can change the settings and get a little more bass out of it, I wouldn't buy the arctis for music that's for sure

I will mostly use it for gaming so sound quality and situational awareness are top priority. I am also very indecisive ATM. I think I will get the Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red keyboard. I can't decide on a mouse or headset.
Looked at the Razer Basilisk, Steel series Rival 700 and Rival 500. I might end up going for the new Corsair Dark Core. Headset, I might get the Arctis 7 because the Void Pro doesn't seem to be all that good.

I would like to put my 2c in for my Corsair Harpoon RGB mouse.
When my R.A.T 5 broke, I was low on cash and couldn't afford the Glaive that I wanted at the time. So I grabbed the Harpoon and I do not think I am going to change for a while. It's cheap, it's good quality and it's RGB. Simple layout and pretty rugged. The only thing is that the build is plastic and it feels plasticky but damn! I am very, very impressed. I think they are going for around R300 or something now.
