ITX Mini Case Advise

Hey Guys, want to upgrade / modify my system to an ITX Mini Case (Convenience and I like the look)

My specs are below:

Antec VP500P, 500w
Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M1A2400C14, 8GB, DDR4-2400, CL14, Black x 2
Kingston UV400 SUV400S37/240G, 240GB, 2.5", SATA6G, Read/Write: 550/490MB/s
Scandisk 1tb ssd
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 03G-P4-6160
Intel i3-9100f
MSI H310M PRO-VH PLUS Micro ATX Motherboard (LGA 1151)(H4)(Intel H310)
Cooler Master MasterBox 3 Lite MCW-L3B2-KN5N - Black/Silver
Asus DRW-24D5MT Internal Dvd Write

I first want to upgrade my GPU (1660 Super) to Gigabyte GV-N166SIXOC-6GD GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Graphics Card (6GB)(GDDR6) | Computers | Buy online in South Africa from Loot.co.za

Not sure which cases or compatible with the Mobo and my wife still uses the Optical drive which also limits the options somewhat. Any suggestions?

Yoh. The optical drive requirement is very limiting. I don't know of any other ITX case that supports it. Any way you can maybe use an external USB optical drive? That said, that case is a pretty solid option, if a bit bland.

Also I am not quite sure about the GPU - you say you have a 1660 Super but you want to upgrade it to another 1660 Super? Check your current card's length vs the GPU clearance in that case, your current card might fit.

You'll also need to change your motherboard to a mini-ITX mobo.

Well, firstly, your mobo is a micro atx and not a mini itx. So you'll need to change that first.

This case is one that can support optical drive and should be able to easily fit the 1660. But you'll need to make a plan with the cpu cooler, unless noise is not a concern.

Thanks want a quick fix but if I need to change the mobo I might opt for a different set up. Might just upgrade my GPU (1060 to 1660 super) and then get a 14" gaming laptop in a couple of months (Asus ROG Zephyrus G14)
