Hi all

So, currently sitting with a NR200P build, but wanna take it a step further and go ideally sub 8L.

Performance wise, I am happy with ryzen 5 / i5 performance and say 3060/3060ti performance. Will be used with 1440p screen, so 3070 might be better, pending if it can fit.

Not keen on a custom loop, would prefer air cooling, and looking undervolting can only do so much, so the ITX case should have some decent air dispensation.

So, please recommend some cases I can look at and where one can get the case (which seems to be the biggest challenge). Ideally sub R3k for the case.

What I have found so far on the net, however to get it here is another story:
Velka 5 or 7
Dan A4
etc.

Also, if you do have such a build, please share experience.

Thank you

OK, but why? Are you space restricted? Chances are you'll end up with a louder/worse performing build which won't be much smaller. All that not even mentioning the monetary aspect.

Just go for the SSUPD. It's already a bit smaller than the NR200 and vertical is the new horizontal

1. Because I want to and building an ATX case is boring, whereas ITX takes planning and patience.
2. If it is worse, then obviously the build is done poorly and hence also need to nit pick a proper ITX case and not something horrible, hence me asking

Nah, 14l is too big and no point in redoing a build for a measly 4 litres.

itx build are not always built due to space concerns but rather to challenge one. not sure if this is still really available as I'm thinking of building a second one but maybe with new Gen parts.

Li Lian PC Q11

there is also a smaller one that they have that doesn't include the section with the 5.25" Bay but on my build I used that for a 4 drive bay to house my raid setup on 500gb ssd's and boot drive is m.2 with I7 8700, 32gb 2666 clocked at 3200 on a Asus z370i and a gtx1070 cpu and gpu water cooled with 2 x 120mm CM aios

I can personally recommend the S4M.
I understand that it's out of your budget but if pushing the limits with custom cases piques your interests, I happen to be a member of NFC's patreon so I have access to a bunch of CAD files to not only make an S4M but also the various cases that NFC has featured on their YT channel and variations thereof.
Since custom cases can be made locally (You'll need to be able to cut and bend sheet metal for the most part), I think you'll be able to get well under 10L and your budget. The O5L that is pictured below also has SFX (I'm not 100% sure about SFX-L support but it looks like they'll work fine) support.

Yoh, the S4M looks nice, but how is the stance on it, only flat or upright? Also, the drop to a spesific 400W PSU is not ideal, so I am not sure I really wanna go that route. For 2L extra, the DAN 4A or Velka 7 might be better options, as I am less limited with a PSU and GPU and I saw the GPU mount on the S4M by Optimum Tech and really not ideal.

Let's say I opt for Velka 5/7 or Dan 4A, what would be best way of importing? has anyone done it?

Hey Louis, are you still looking for a case? I'm busy working on a sub 8L aluminium case that might be what you're looking for. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send more info
