is this still available?

Why not just trade it in at iStore? It's worth R14000 on trade in.
This I didn’t know. I store kept freezing when trying to get values.

Still don't mind selling directly as no idea if iStore will have stock for upgrades.

iStore trying to give me less than what their trade site had mentioned.
This is now an outright sale.

Out of interest, what did they offer you? And what was the reason for not offering the full trade in value?

Ive never ever had iStore honour their suggested trade-in value they give you on their website. They use that as a hook to get you to trade in, then once there, they look hard for blemishes or reasons to give you less. Way less. Its a sales strategy I reckon. Because once you're already in their store, the convenience of leaving it behind and holding a shiny newer device is so much stronger. The apple vortex sucks you in hard.

I’ve traded in a few devices over the years & always received the full trade in value. It’s only recently that I’ve noticed the lower offers. I agree, it’s 100% a sales strategy - they’re making money reselling your traded in device & you pay more to upgrade to the newer device. It’s win win for them but everyone else loses out.

Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread @DeathByIp - GLWS!

Hey mate,

They said the battery percentage was not ideal and I said yes but still higher than the 80% requested on the site.
The store was a bit busy so guess they weren't too fussed about my leaving tbh.

They offered R10k.

Waiting for some reviews from some friends on the 14 Pro and will most likely get it next week.
