EDIT - The iPad has iOS10, seems to be LTE/Sim card slot (think LTE, as per info on google) and I was able to install youtube netflix showmax and F1TV apps.
Youtube app gives a funny error, but googling the errors has a lot of hits, so maybe a way to fix it, but I am not going to try.
