Hey guys,

I'm currently looking for an inverter and battery setup to power my gaming pc and two monitors. I used one of the wattage meter plugs to get some power readings and my whole setup uses around 200w idle and 500w on full load.

I'm looking for an inverter and battery setup that will ideally last me during the loadshedding window. I'm looking at one of those trolley setups from geewiz but I'm not sure if those are good value or if there's somewhere else I can look at. Does anyone have any recommendations on setups I can look at or recommendations on shops?

Pc specs:
Amd ryzen 5800x
Amd ryzen 6800xt
850w gold rated psu

“During the load shedding window” - 2 hours or 4?
500W for 4 hours would need 200ah 12v or 100ah 24v at an absolute minimum, and that’s lithium.
If you’re going lead acid then you need double that to avoid discharging the batteries too much.

Running a full PC on batteries is expensive, especially if you want to game.

200ah lithuims and lekker inverter will do the job.

Mecer 1440 2x100ah lithuims will work.
