Intel vs AMD

Hi,
A lot of people are talking about AMD CPUs. Is worth buying a Intel CPU or should you rather buy AMD motherboard which will allow for future upgrades with AMD CPUs?
(Btw, I just started learning about computers recently)

Amd is doing very well at the moment. You will get more cores for your money. So depending what's your use case more cores is better most of the time. Like rendering videos, multitasking, the extra cores make a big difference.

Gaming was always Intel for the win, but recently AMD is taking that spot too. So I would definitely go AMD.

Just to add, ur post through me a bit off there. AMD CPUs fit on AMD boards only and Intel on intel.

But AMD GPUS can work on both Intel and AMD. I'm sure you know this but I'm just being thorough.😁

Personally if you just started learning about PC's rather go with Intel.
AMD is particularly full of shit when it comes to ram and mounting pressure from the cpu cooler etc.

Intel is mostly just plug and play provided you don't drop your cpu onto the pins in the cpu socket.
On that note, also get someone to assemble the system for you if you are unsure.
