Item: Incomplete DIY amp
Age: Around a year and a half
Price: R2800
Warranty: None
Packaging: It all comes inside the enclosure
Condition: See pictures and description below
Location: JHB, Fourways / Ferndale
Reason: Building Vanguard amps, so have no use for this project anymore
Shipping: At your risk & expense
Collection: Yes
So this is a DIY amp project which I was busy with, got it up and running but then had issues with 2 of the modules and never got a chance to finish it.
This sale consists of the following:
2x working LJM L15D amp modules
2x non working LJM L15D modules (some of the components got fried. I believe it is the IRS chip which needs replacement, they use to work. Some spare parts are included but no the IRS chips)
Chassis - the paint needs to be stripped and then either redone or can be left bare
1x 1000W SMPS (working)
2x stereo speaker protection modules (working)
2x 12v 120mm fans (working, not really needed but I prefer to have extra cooling as it gets hot here in SA)
Odds & ends, such as the power switch, IEC connector, some RCA connectors as well as binding posts which can take banana plugs or bare wire.
With a little bit of effort you can easily end up with 4 channels of 150w each into 8 ohms
