I am one of the owners of iKonix and we are looking to improve our shopping experience for you.
Whom of you have purchased from us in the past?

 • How was your shopping experience?
 • Is the website fast or slow?
 • If slow - what browser or internet line are you using?
 • Where could we improve?
 • What products would you like to see more of?
 • Are we competitive?

Your feedback is much appreciated, Those with a the best constructive criticism or positive feedback will receive a 5% off voucher.

Hurro, bought from you guys a couple times. Was very happy with the service overall and your prices are pretty much the best in relation to other online stores.

Just on the website:
It isn't very user friendly and has a lot of weird glitches, like when adding to cart or moving back through pages etc.
At times it can load very slowly and occasionally is unresponsive. I am using Chrome but have also tested it using Comodo Dragon and Mozilla.

I'd be really keen to see the Bids site go back up? I really enjoyed it and still have quite a number of bids I'd like to use as well.

That's about all I can think of.

I bought a fan controller and USB3 card in February. Only problem I had was a lack of updates. I had to mail to confirm payment and again to ask for tracking numbers. Still, wasn't too unpleasant an experience and I will consider you guys again in the future. Prices are great. Just found a few old stock entries along with newer ones last time I checked as well.

Cudos on this thread though. Shows you give a hoot about customer service, not like some others I might mention (Ok, Rampage Gaming. Just freaking terrible in every way).

i was planing to buy some parts from you guys but unfortunately had to cancel because all i got told was "we are waiting for stock" for a long time. Pity to you guys had the best prices at the time

That happened to me like in many times way back... Sorry to say i never bought from them then, cause when you want it ARG no stock etc... SO the prices helped nothing lol. Well like i said it was back then.. who knows may b i will give them a shot now....

How was your shopping experience?
Good

Is the website fast or slow?
Slow (not sure now. A few weeks/months back it was very slow)

If slow - what browser or internet line are you using?
Chrome / 4Mbps ADSL (Axxess/Afrihost aka MTN adsl)

Where could we improve?
1. Speed
2. Sometimes the I struggle to find things in the menu (eg if I want laptop memory I must look under laptop and not PC components). This is not a big issue and you cannot please a million shoppers, just my thoughts about the menu structure.
3. A brand filter on the categories menu.

What products would you like to see more of?
GFX Card brands

Are we competitive?
Overall I would say yes.

Whoops forgot about this xD
Well I have used the website recently as I'll be buying a gpu and case from you guys in the next day or so and it actually seemed fine, a little slow, but no glitches to note.

I'll post again once I've placed my order and received my stuff to let you all know how it went.

Been buying from you guys since 2010, love the service, prices are most competitive, the site is slower than it use to be, guess all the bells and whistles has its down fall, I even purchased IT equipment for my previous employer KPMG, as the in house IT equipment sourcing there was over inflated with regards to pricing and extremely crap in terms of sourcing! So well up! Ikonic IT FTW, noticed you guys moved 3 times already, and I know when I fetch my goodies I have a smoking buddy lol, can't remember the guys name that mans the front desk.... Anyway, I work for EY now, soon as I have a need that in house IT can't source, I will be using YOU! Thumbs up!

That being said... When I have time, I will find out how one becomes a preferred IT vendor to EY maybe your company can put in a proposal to tender for a piece of the pie... We buy #### load of HDD's every month, that's just my department...

Thanks for the input so far guys. Highly appreciated.

Need more performance input. What's your average load time on first load then on browsing once all the cookies have been cached? Where could we improve? is the website's usability easy or is it tedious? Comon guy's I know you all want some gift vouchers! :)
ToTS if you can help with that would be highly appreciated :) my email is warren@ikonix.co.za

I just thought I would show you guys a little of what "behind the scenes" of iKonix looks like :)

3 person permanent gaming LAN area. erm I mean working area. Front desk, console gaming area. Collections area and front desk!

Have to say, I don't remember the site looking like that when I ordered my stuff a few months back... Really nice layout and everything seems to be easy to navigate.

Glad to see you around here as well. Just adds that extra bit of confidence. ;)

When did you guys move ? Doesn't look like the the old store in that shopping centre off witkoppen road . Anyway been having an issue with order 26213 , sent 2 emails with no response .

We moved a while back. The rent was killing us, not worth it with the lack of foot traffic.

Anyway, your order. Still trying to find stock on the OTG Cables.

Yea thought so , still close by for me :)

Thanks for the update , will place another order without the cable in the meantime .

Small glitch.

Using Chrome browser, when browsing a category (tried a few), only the left 2 columns can one right-click and select "open in new tab", the right 2 columns come up with the navigation options, forcing one to just click and open in the same page. This seems to be screen resolution dependant (the work pc has only 1280 pixels horizontal, causing the frame on the right to be almost totally off screen) If I "Zoom out" in Chrome to 75% so that the frame is fully visible, the right columns behave normally.

Other than that, works a treat.
