Hey guys!
So, today i got some PC components from my uncle, im thinking of building a PC (first time builder).
I got the CPU -i9 7980XE and some MSI motherboard (which my uncle says could be broken.
Now i have the following questions, first, how to check if the MB and CPU actually work, and if they do/dont, what would values be and should i keep or sell for more modern parts?
I want to do gaming and productivity work, so i was thinking something like a R5 5600x but if this is worth keeping, why not
Edit: Tested the components, motherboard is giving some trouble, but the CPU is fine
