hey guys a while ago i purchased a huawei cpe 5 pro on here as a second hand unit, using it with a telkom lte sim card

majority of the time it works flawlessly, but once in a while it will just drop network connection, then i need to restart the unit, its quite annoying as it always happen in a gaming session.

i never had this issue with the huawei b618

has anyone with the same router experience such an issue?

i dont find similar complaints online

Does the router drop or does the connection to the tower drop?

When it happens, i cant do that web browser 192.168 thing when it happens to see if its connection to tower

Have you tried the mobile app? I mainly use that now.

I’m assuming this unit is originally from Rain?
I forgot about that. Will check it in the morning.if it happens again

I forgot to mention that im running the huawei into a asus rt ax56u and from the asus it goes to all my computers.

The asus is set as ap mode. so my computer does not see the asus as network connection, it picks up the huawei as internet connection

Very late reply but I'm guessing you have tried to reset it.

If the connection drop and you can't access the dashboard of the router then this is likely a faulty router or firmware issue I'm afraid.
