[Wanted] HTPC needed TODAY! (Pretoria, Budget ~R3.5k)

Hi folks!

As the title says, I'm looking for a HTPC (for my folks).


Item Wanted: HTPC with decent specs
Packaging Essential: No
Desired Age: < 2 years
Location: Pretoria / Centurion
Willing to accept a shipped item: No, face-to-face only
Ballpark/Budget Amount: R3,500, depending on specs


Ideally a quiet, small PC.
Preferably with Wifi and Bluetooth, but it's not a train-smash if without.
Powerful enough to play 1080p video without stuttering and run Kodi / Plex .

Note: Not interested in Raspberry Pi's, Media Players, or full-on desktop towers / laptops thanks.


I plan on taking it to them tomorrow (they live in the Free State), so I need it today/tonight.

Let me know what you have, and if I can come inspect the wares. I'll have the cash ready

On second thought, I will also consider a desktop if the chassis is relatively small / discreet (i.e. Not a massive box with flashing neon lights and loud whirring fans )

if you got sorted with the micro server , i have a gt220 for cheap that should have no issue handling 1080p.
i am in kempton park so you can pick it up on your way , time permitting ofcourse

Sooooo.... This is kind of awkward, but I spoke to my dad, and he decided that he's changed his mind about the whole HTPC thing for the time being,and is sticking with his Smart TV.
