Hey Carbers

With all the streaming services out at the moment I'm wondering what streaming services are you subscribed to and what VPN do you use to access it?
I am personally lazy to get a VPN so I just use SA Netflix....

I use a thing called Getflix which works on pc for just about every single streaming service (except for the likes of Disney+ which requires billing details based in US so Paypal + S.A card does not work).
Also costs like 5$ a month and does not impact normal internet experience as it's not a VPN

Oh and it doesn't work on Android Smart TV's or atleast I haven't been able to get it to work for my smart tv.
It picks up US Netflix etc no issues, but when you stream something that is only available in the US it moans about using a proxy.
This is however not a issue on pc.

I have 4 at the moment -
  • Netflix
  • HBO (not in SA, but Showmax is much of a muchness)
  • Amazon Prime Video
  • Pickbox (local one - concentrating on whatever the other three don't get, mostly BBC stuff)
They are mostly for my Mrs, I don't have enough time in a day...
Normally not using VPN either, except for the special jewels like Shameless

Sniped a lifetime subs promo with Ivacy VPN for $40, works most of the time - especially while North America still sleeps.

I use Surfshark VPN Sign up for Surfshark VPN account (currently having a sale of $48 for 2 years).
Works well enough, and with AsusWRT-Merlin firmware on my router I have the VPN connected and applied to only my streaming devices so that they can run on the US versions.

They do of course have apps if you prefer using them.
The one thing worth mentioning is that you need to use the US - Detroit specifically if you want to watch US Netflix, any other US server won't work (not sure why).

They do have a few "value-add" services like Cleanweb which tries to block ads and stuff from your device.
Overall pretty happy with em.

As to streaming services, I only subscribe to Netflix, don't wanna sub to many because I hate that everybody has their own streaming services so I'd end up paying for more than DSTV if I got netflix + hulu + hbo + Disney+ + showmax + wwe network + pornhub premium + ufc fightpass + amazon prime

Torguard with two streaming IPs in the US and UK.

Currently using it with Netflix and Disney+.
Used it with Hulu and BBC before.

Hi All,

I need some help.

I am currently based in Aus and would like to watch rugby through the DSTV now APP.
I have a DSTV account but am unsure of the best way to go about streaming sport.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
