Hi All,

So I received some nice servers ranging from 8 Cores up. from 4GB Ram to 64GB.

I am looking at doing something with them.

First Prize is A) I sell them all and pay off my credit Card.

B) Build a awesome home server.

So I have an entertainment Area with Surround sound and HD Projector using a Mediabox 4K and Stremio app and spotify(YT music Peeps please no burning me on this its just my prefference)

I thought about a plex server but meh Stremio and Spotify covers it all. My home automation is all cloud based so dont need it for that either. Gaming Servers... Maybe what Games are there that I can host...

What about a website. I do need one of these but really not going to run a full fledged server to run a website when it can be done with a Pi4

Sophos home Firewall???? not really needed...

Someone please help me decide on some cool project I can use these for.t

Proxmox and go wild with your own lab to build whatever you want!

Local Netflix. Build and host websites. System admin stuff like setting up active directory and mail server for everyone at home. Central file server. Virtualisation (hypervisors, GNS3, PCIe passthrough, etc). Firewall.

I had a number of home servers - At some point I had a homelab consisting of 3 servers, a UPS etc then scaled all the way down to a single itx build that met all my server needs.
Last month I eventually decommisioned it all - less electricity costs, more floor space, less noise, much easier setup...

If it were me - Sell it all and pay of debt!

so 1 is the standing upright Server, 1 is a rackmount server(2U) and 1 can either standupright or be rack mounted(4U in size)

Id possibly be interested in the "normal" one 🤔

The hardware in running my Minecraft server on could do with an upgrade 😂
