Help updating Bios In bloemfontein.

Hi guys.

I have a bit of a problem. I need to update my bios on my Motherboard to latest firmware. I have a 9th gen CPU but my board cant read it because of BIOS. Is there anyway I can update my Bios without a 8th gen CPU to start the PC up first? TIA>

Some Asus boards let you flash the BIOS without a CPU in it.

There is no easy way to do this tbh - SOME boards allow you to - the majority dont - a lot of boards wont even post without a CPU in it.

You either need to get the supplier to update it for you, or borrow an 8th gen cpu.

Bought upgrade kit from evetech. Its a MSI H370M bazooka. I know Its not an overclock board.

Evetech sent him "an out of date" board too - it eventually panned out that Evetech would send him another board that they have updated....

this is seriously not on Evetech.
