Hi there,

I recently purchased a Realme X7 Pro from Alibaba, and have used it for a week. When booting, I noticed that it said "Orange state, device can not be trusted". After asking, the seller informed me that the phone had been unlocked. This kinda sucked cause apps like Luno wouldn't work, and Netflix + DSTV didn't show up in the app store. Also, when a Realme device is unlocked, it no longer receives updates.

So I asked the seller if I could flash an update, and he confirmed that it was possible, I just had to console "google". My plan was to factory reset the phone, install a stock rom, relock the bootloader, and then boom, problems fixed. Unfortunately after installing the stock rom, the phone would no longer boot.

It seems that the phone goes straight into bootloader. No combination of buttons take it to recovery or Fastboot. ADB does recognize the device, but it is "unauthorized", so I cannot boot it into recovery from there. Is there any way to go into recovery via hardware? I feel like I have tried everything, with no success. Even installed Miracle Thunder, SP Flash Tool, Realme Flash Tool and Mediatek Flash Tool.

I did launch a dispute on Alibaba for a refund, so really hoping that it works out in my favour. Any assistance would be appreciated.
