Good quality speakers or SSD

hi guys,

I have enough money to get either a 120gig SSD or a second hand set of z2300 speakers.

I think the SSD would have more of an impact on my life since I'm always using my PC but I like my music and z2300s are hard to come by... any advice on which way I should go?

If you don't already have good speakers then sure, but if you have ample speakers then the SSD is way better.

Z2300s are crap. Bass blasters and nothing more. Browse record stores and you'll find speakers which outperform the Z2300s by a country mile for a few hundred Rands.

Could you suggest something in the R1000 - R1500 bracket

I could, but finding them will prove to be the biggest problem. There are plenty of rare bargains I don't know about. The best is to browse your local record stores and ask for a demo of a few of the sets they have.

No... that was supposed to come after, there was no way that I was going to get a good sound card with R100 speakers
