Having owned 2 x GTX 1080Ti cards, I can confirm this RTX 2080 IS FASTER and the benefit of real RTX support as well as DLSS is amazing, especially in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield.
The GPU doesn't get warmer than 65 degrees at full load gaming and is ideal for 1080P and especially 1440P and even 4K Gaming *title dependent*.

Far Cry V Benchmark - Average FPS = 151 FPS on Ultra Settings at 1080P
Far Cry V Benchmark -Highest FPS = 180 FPS on Ultra Settings at 1080P

*Running on an i7 8700k @ 5.00GHz and Trident Z 16GB DDR4-4000 MHz
