Subbed to the ultra, seems to be month to month and can cancel anytime like Netflix/prime etc. which is nice
Also cost is pro rated so only paid for 9-31 Dec

Will be going to Limpopo sometime in December will be interesting to see how it performs with higher latency

You need to create a rain account to log in but you don't have to have a rain product to be able to subscribe to GeForce Now.

You do get 20% off if you have a Rain product like Rain One

Make a rain account and choose which package you want (or sign in if you're already a rain customer) It's pretty straight forward sign-up process (same can't be said when the beta just came out)

So has this been launched yet? Apparently has been available since 7 December but I haven't been able to sign up (marked as sold out) and no one that I know of who did beta testing received the email they mentioned when going live.

Yes it has launched, both the priority and ultra was sold out same day it launched I think

I never received the email but saw on mybroadband that It launched and was lucky to get a sub

Best you can do now is subscribe to the waitlist, when people don't renew or they add more capacity you might get an invite

100%, its quite a pitty that it sold out but it does make sense, being December and all.

Fingers crossed then for the new year.

I cancelled my sub because the latency of GFN in Cape Town, even with fibre, is just too high.

Anyone hwre have any idea when geforce now will be expanding?
They have said late 2024 bur we currently 2025.

Im on the waiting list but dead silence. I dont want to buy another pc or console. I play to kittle to justify that big expense but with geforce now it makes sense for me

I've also been patiently waiting for an update from them. It still says sold out, but I find it hard to believe that some slots haven't opened up in the meantime.
