I'm looking for an inverter trolley for my gaming pc. I would guess max 400w with the monitor. I've currently have a RCT 1kw trolley but it is no longer able to power my pc even when not gaming so I am definitely going lithium. I've had a look at a few lithium trolleys, I've seen the 1KW Mecer and Kool energy lithium trolleys. I've also found this from Geewiz: 1KW Axpert + 12V 2560AH lithium battery

I would like to know everyone's opinion on something like this and if there's anything I need to know when purchasing this. I'm going to check if I can change the battery to a Revov battery for the extra year of warranty or 500 extra cycles. Is the Geewiz branded inverter fine or should I pay the extra for the RCT 1KW inverter which isn't much? I understand a drawback to this setup is the slow charging times but I wont be draining the battery plus my loadshedding schedule means I should be able to charge fully. I care about the extra capacity of the 200AH battery as we do have occasional power outages that can last a while.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

if you already have an inverter, isnt it worthwhile just replacing the battery after checking compatibility?
Someone's mentioned this to me. What I'm worried about is with the load and inverter efficiency, will I not be draining a 12.8V 100AH too far over 2 hours? I understand lithium can be discharged more than LA but noticed you can get significantly more cycles when not discharging the battery below 20% with some batteries. Was hoping to get an opinion on the trolley I linked above. I want to know whether I should change that inverter or use the Geewiz branded inverter as well as Revov vs Mecer batteries.

Does anyone have any experience with the Geewiz branded axpert inverter or should I switch it for a RCT 1KW axpert inverter? Is the Revov 12V 200AH 2nd life battery better than the Mecer?

Which rct inverter trolley do you have.

Most of the trolley types are similar except there’s some that are pure sine wave and others that are modified sine wave. Many are actually just rebrands of the same thing.

So if you already have the inverter, just get a replacement lithium battery and go on with your life if the current inverter is sufficient for your needs.

Revov make first life and second life batteries. As far as I know, the mecer is second life. So they can be considered the same. Get the cheapest battery from a reputable seller and you should be fine.

You can also check Gcsolar. They have some 12v 200a batteries
