Item: Garmin Fenix 5x Sapphire Edition
Age: Unkown
Price: R1500 (or closest cash offer)
Payment Method Accepted: EFT/Cash
Warranty: None
Packaging: Original
Condition: Rough, (Scuff marks on the bezel; Screen is unscathed; HR sensor plastic is cracking but is still waterproof - tested with warm water as well; UP and DOWN menu buttons not working - see extra info)
Location: Cape Town and surrounds
Reason: Upgraded
Shipping: On buyer's risk
Collection: Preferred
Link: Garmin fēnix® 5 | Multisport GPS Watch
Extra Info:
The watch got knocked and then the 2 buttons no longer worked. Had it checked at Sportsmans Warehouse, technician opened it up and said the buttons on the PCB needed to be replaced as the plastic parts of the buttons cracked with the knock. Their fee was a bit outrageous so I decided to just get a new one.
The watch was still working very well before this happened (about 1.5 years ago). I found a link to an ebay store that sells the correct buttons for the PCB (New Replacement Power ON/OFF Volume Up/Down Button Switch for Garmin Fenix 5 | eBay) if you can repair it (or find someone that can solder on PCB's) then you could get away pretty cheaply.
The watch comes with a strap, although it needs new ones really, and the screwdrivers to change straps. The charging cable is not included.
