So I really need a new chair, I had mine for 2 years and it was decent in the beginning but after time it has worn, arm rests are breaking up and seat starting to open up. I suppose 2 years is good time for being on it every evening.

I just want something with comfortable arm rests and nothing that gets so sticky in the summer, the material I think for these chairs make it uncomfortable sometimes. I will even look at office chairs as I heard some are really good and are better than a gaming chair. Weight must also support like 130 or so.

This is what I currently have Gaming Chair.

Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

I'd recommend the Corsair T1 Racer.
I've had mine for 4 years, sat in it most nights gaming , I've moved 3 times so its definitely been through the paces.
2 years ago while moving we got stuck in a torrential down pour, to my horror my gaming chair was at the heart of this storm on an open the trailer.
Just let it dry out for 3 day and all was well.
Chair still looks mint with almost no signs of wear.
I see they are a bit pricey now, got mine back when they were R3299.

Dam, completely forgot. Like 4 - 5K
Then I would highly recommend grabbing a decent (used) Herman Miller.

I've had gaming chairs, and honestly, its overrated imo. The fabric gets hot/sticky in summer, and overall they dont feel ergonomically designed to sit behind a desk for hours at a time. Enter Herman Miller... I havent looked back one day.

@bachi and @Strange were selling some. Its rough at R6k, sure. But they come with 12 year warranty for a good reason.

Just my 2cents.

[And yes, I know these sellers are in Gauteng, but pretty sure Strange told me one of his buyers sent CourierIT to collect. So sure arrangements can be made]

Thanks, I will have a look. Yeah I also think they became overrated and some are way overpriced.

If you can push the budget a tad bit more. I highly recommend this

Otherwise one of their cheaper options
