[Wanted] Gaming monitor options

Which gaming monitor is the best buy at this stage? Price not only factor.

Should be 27"+ and 1440p+, 1ms or lower response.

Running off a 3080 so 144hz refresh is already limiting unless the resolution increases (UHD worth it?).

Currently running a 32" 1440p VA display with 144hz refresh and 4ms response, which is good but would prefer lower response and higher refresh.

Is the Samsung G7 the only option that would fulfil above requirements?

I personally want to go 34" ultrawide.

I have been reading monitor reviews for weeks now trying to make up my mind.

With a 3080 you should be able to run 3440x1440, 144Hz. just fine.

G-sync and IPS panels make it become expensive, but apparently add a lot to image quality and gaming experience.

A few reviewers have said, once you go ultrawide, you can't go back.

I personally when with a LG 27GN950 (4K 144Hz) and it is truly amazing. On my 3070 hitting 144Hz on all titles is an issue but DLSS helps a lot. I was never one for ultrawide as most of them have response time and backlighting issues., unless you fork out for something like a G9.
