Yo.
Long story short. after a long battle of 3 years with cancer, my mom passed away on the 11th November 2023.
Two weeks before she passed we spoke about a gift for my youngest brother which is coming up on the 29th November, something she said she would like to contribute with her pension to that he could remember her by. She sent me this that same day.
we are gyming together from next week (currently have the flu at the moment) to cope with the mental of our loss so i thought a watch would be cool to track progress etc.
i have limited experience with smart watches since i only been using a Garmin forerunner 45 i bought here on carb in September, which i like.
my brother uses a galaxy s10 phone, so im thinking a galaxy watch 4 would be within budget? are these any good? or do i go for the forerunner 55 which is around the same price.
But my thinking is also it should be a gift that lasts many years since its partly from my mom, hence thinking about a non-smart watch.
What would you do? or what else could i get that would be sentimental.
