G-Sync compatibilty

Hi all Carbo`s 👋

Need some quick info/advice, will I be to able activate G-Sync on my Dell SE2717H (Freesync) monitor?

I`m wanting upgrade my curent AMD GPU to a Nvidia GPU but not sure about the whole G-Sync enabling over HDMI thing

Will only work via DP port..so on that monitor unfortunately its a no.If i recall it only has hdmi

You will not have vrr.

But you can run it a fixed 75hz over hdmi.

Lets be honest, the SE2717H has such a terrible adaptive sync window anyways (FPS range in which adaptive sync applies) that it doesn't matter whether you will be able to use the technology or not.

Just upgrade, more FPS is ALWAYS better than having a nicer sync technology than software VSync.
