Had this ancient beastly Windows Xp-era bad boy stored away for years. Time to let him go
Item: Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M1424
Specs:
Intel (Centrino) Pentium M 745 - 1.8GHz CPU (*actual speed 600MHz)
1GB (2x512MB) DDR RAM
40GB IDE hard drive
DVD-RW drive
ATi Mobility Radeon 9700 SE (128MB) GPU
Windows Xp Professional with SP2
Games installed: Max Payne 1 and 2
Age: ~18 years
Price: R400
Warranty: None
Packaging: None. Can bubblewrap for shipping
Condition: Overall good. Some odd cracks on the shell, but nothing critical since the LCD frame, ports and keyboard are still intact
*CPU is locked on 600MHz for some odd reason, but consequently runs cool (and almost fanless) - CPU fan header was bypassed and is powered via USB instead, so the fan can be turned off by unplugging the cable. With the CPU being locked on 600MHz, the fan would not spin when connected to its power header.
Battery is dead, CMOS battery replaced.
Everything else works 100% and runs smooth with classic Windows Xp. Both Max Payne games can run on full graphics
Photos and HDD health report on the imgur link below.
Location: Houghton, Johannesburg
Reason: Clearing cupboard of retro items
Shipping: Yes, buyer's risk and cost
Collection: Yes
