I am selling my *FAULTY* HIS HD 7970 3GB graphics card.

The OS does boot, but no display on screen, however it is detected when another card is in the PC, so I suspect it is a BIOS issue.

I don't really have time to troubleshoot BIOS issues so I am selling this as is.

If you have any questions, please ask.Thanks.

Item: HIS HD 7970 3Gb graphics card
Age: Unsure - I bought it second hand a while back.
Warranty: No
Packaging: No
Condition: Good, it was stripped and cleaned a while back.
Location: Cape Town
Reason: Don't have time to fix.
Shipping: Yes, buyer pays.
Collection: Yes
Price: R1000
Link: HIS 7970 Fan 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E DVI/HDMI/2xMini DP (Free DP to DVI Eyefinity Adapter) < HD 7900 Series < Desktop graphics < Products | HIS Graphic Cards

Any questions, please ask.

Anybody know if it will still work with crossfire on a vapor x 7970 card?

Hi folks,

A few things... apologies that I have yet to reply to anyone. It seems that I have an old email address set in my profile so I didn't receive any notifications.

To answer an earlier post, yes there is a bios switch - the result is the same regardless whether it is set to 1 or 2.

I now have two of these cards available... the second one shows a display but appears to be some corruption at boot. Strangely it is only every second or third boot. The BIOS switch is also broken.
