System failed, and don't have compatible components to troubleshoot with, maybe one of you guys can test and use this.
Iirc, the system just refused to boot up at all, but if there is genuine interest, I'll rebuild it and report on what exactly it does (or doesn't do), otherwise it's going in the bin next week.

In an attempt to help clarify, and in case I've missed any PMs.

System stopped working over a year ago, I fiddled with it, couldn't make it work. then I stuck the mobo and CPU in a box and in the cupboard of shame.

IIRC correctly, the board powers on, but there is no display output and no beeps, which is what led me to believe either the cpu or the mobo is fubar.

Regarding the price, and the requests for "best price" (Best price for me is R25 000, best price for you, probably not that), if I have to take out the psu of my current rig to test the 2011 bits, then the price is firm, but the less effort I have to do, the more negotiable I am. So if you wanna pay less then the stated price, at least make an offer.

Sold, will lock once it's been received by the buyer.
